TAKAFUL DALAM PERSPEKTIF AJK MASJID: SATU KAJIAN TENTANG PENGETAHUAN DAN KESEDARAN DI SEMENANJUNG MALAYSIA
(TAKAFUL FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF MOSQUE COMMITTEE MEMBERS: A STUDY ON KNOWLEDGE AND AWARENESS IN PENINSULAR MALAYSIA)

Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis tahap pengetahuan, kesedaran, dan kesediaan ahli jawatankuasa masjid di Semenanjung Malaysia terhadap takaful, di samping mengenal pasti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Golongan ini dipilih kerana peranan strategik mereka sebagai pemimpin komuniti yang berpotensi menyebarkan maklumat kewangan patuh Syariah, khususnya kepada kumpulan B40. Bagi tujuan tersebut, satu kajian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui soal selidik kepada 520 responden di empat zon utama serta temu bual separa berstruktur dengan 19 responden terpilih telah dijalankan. Dapatan menunjukkan tahap kesedaran takaful secara keseluruhan adalah tinggi, dengan variasi mengikut kategori masjid, lokasi, dan ciri individu, di mana masjid institusi, kawasan bandar, dan mereka yang berpendidikan tinggi mencatat kesedaran lebih baik. Faktor pandangan Syariah dan perceived behavioural control (PBC) paling mempengaruhi kesedaran, manakala pengetahuan turut dipengaruhi oleh sikap, pengaruh sosial (negatif), dan persepsi terhadap perkhidmatan ejen takaful. Walaupun prinsip asas takaful difahami dengan baik, terdapat jurang pengetahuan berkaitan produk tertentu dan mekanisme perkongsian risiko. Tahap kesediaan untuk mengguna pakai takaful berada pada tahap sederhana, dipengaruhi oleh faktor demografi seperti umur, tahap pendidikan, dan lokasi, manakala kekangan kewangan serta interaksi terhad dengan pengendali takaful menjadi penghalang utama. Hasil analisis ini menegaskan keperluan program literasi kewangan berfokus komuniti masjid, strategi pendidikan berperingkat mengikut demografi, dan pengukuhan peranan ejen takaful sebagai sumber maklumat yang diyakini, dengan implikasi kepada peningkatan penembusan takaful serta keterangkuman kewangan masyarakat Islam di Malaysia
